245 headrest removal? 200 1983

Guys,

I was briefly on this forum several years ago, but the old 245 is too reliable to warrant constant forum monitoring (unlike the forums I subscribe to for my '88 BMW 535is, which are necessary to keep it running without breaking the bank).

But I'm back hoping you can help with a little project: I'm installing the IPD seat covers on the '83 245 that is the college kid donor car / family utility vehicle, and need to remove the front seat headrests. Got no instructions with the set, and not seeing an obvious method, short of inserting a small board in an aperture and whacking up on it.

The Brick archive describes hidden release buttons under the seatback cover, but didn't see anything about 200s.

Thanks in advance for your help.
