Interior windshield moulding questions 140-160 1969

Thanks, again. My '69 has the VIN attached on the left door column, perfectly matching the space in the plastic trim. Seems like a straightforward enough upgrade, if one considers this move an upgrade. Just a matter of drilling the three holes into each door column to match the three holes in each side moulding piece and attaching with the correct plastic rivets, once I find them. The bottom strip may be a little more tricky, from what you're telling me. I'll need to get the four clips to hold it down to whatever. TBC...
