Hi all,

On my 1990 244, I have a rather loud and annoying rattle coming from near the front passenger wheel well or engine bay. It sounds *exactly* like a heat shield that has come loose (metal on metal) and would be rattling on the exhaust, especially at certain rpms. The only thing is, I can't find anything like that it the engine bay. There is a heavy metal piece by the exhaust manifold, but seems secure...

Of course, I tried to have a friend rev the engine to find it but it is much more subdued at a standstill. Anyone else have this - solved this?
