Hubcap attachment 200

I have original '77 245 steel 14" wheels with chrome hubcaps which I like the look of. For some reason the caps seem to mysteriously disappear when I leave it parked in the carpark at college, given that they've been happily attached for 27 years, its seems unlikely they should suddenly all start falling off by themselves now.

My supply of spare scrapyard hubcaps is wearing down, is there some way I can make the things harder for football teams to remove? I could remove them all, but that's a much uglier look and I feel I have a right to dress my car however I like without people stealing my chrome.

It could be worse I guess, I'm lucky I have a heavy car. The guy who lives down the hall from me had his Daihatsu overturned one very cold night. We think that with the redneck element on this campus, they objected to his "Stop inbreading - Ban country music" bumper sticker. Fortunately it was overturned on grass and doesn't seem any worse for the experience.
