where do the hoses go 700

On my '86 760 Turbo, B230FT engine, there are three small hoses connected to the engine side of the intake manifold body. One heads to a hole through the firewall. This one has a split about an inch long. What does this connect to?
An other one just went over the back of the engine. When tracing it I came to a broken end just over the rear of the engine. What should this attach to?
Following the lines up from the oil trap to the flame arrestor, there is a large hose off one leg of the "Y" but nothing on the smaller leg. Should there be a hose here, and if so, where should it connect?
I'm still trying to track down an oil leak on this side of the engine and when driving the wagon it doesn't seem to want to downshift into a lower gear when the throttle is fully depressed. Just doesn't have any guts.
Thank you for any information you can share with me.
Ron
