Oil Pressure Light Flickering 900 1996

Guys,
My 940 LPT recently has started flickering its Low Oil Pressure (LOP)
Light. It first came on after a long drive to Kedah on Friday. Then it
only came on intermittently over the next few days when the car was at
standstill like at the traffic lights. Also the LOP light now takes about
4 seconds to go off when the car is started, previously was 1 second.
Any ideas?? I've changed the oil pressure switch, its still the same.
