no power to fuel pump

Seems likely that there must be a weak/corroded connection to the pump inside the tank that may have broken with the jiggling. Otherwise, you may have a corroded/broken wire up inside the insulation some where. No way to know unless you do continuity checking. Looks like the best bet is to pull the intank pump.
