What should I know about the 960 before buying?? 900

Hi all, I am a longtime 200 series owner and loved them. I learned all the quirks of the type through the years. I may buy a 960 in the near future. Are there any things to look for before buying? What are some of the mechanical high/low points of the series? Hope to be back in a Volvo soon. Thanks, Paul
