Buying a 1988 240 Sedan. A few last minute questions. 200

A few days ago I checked out a 1988 240 sedan. Seemed to be in GREAT shape except, a minor accident - broke the grill, driver's side headlight, side marker light & bent the hood latch just enough to let it not release.

How hard will it be to get the hood open?

The person who was trying to open the hood just removed the AC evaporater from the in from of the radiator. Will this cause any major problems in the near future?

The car only had 123000 miles (original, I did check) and it also has a set of aluminum wheels and a few extra parts in the trunk.

Asking price - $500.00

Thank in advance.

Todd :-)
