chances are the bottom mounting bolt(s) have backed out and may be finger loose...at least this is what one of my shop mechanics found on my 1990 740gl non-turbo wagon....i had been checking fluids & noticed the p/s pump looked not parallel to the crank pulley...the car was put up in the air and that is what was found...happy hunting
