Brake help - urgent!!! 900 1991

The photo below show the piston from the right front caliper on my 91 940GL. The marks you can see are where it has worn through the outer casting (?). Is this piston beyond use? I've been led to believe that piston surface has to be "perfect". This clearly is not. What p*isses me off is that the calipers are only about 4 years old and are exchange calipers from Volvo. The marks sit just where the piston seal is located. The bore of the caliper itself is perfectly fine. What should I do???!!! As is normally the case with these sorts of things, I need the car for work tomorrow.

Can anyone adivse what I should do? I need help urgently!

Thanks for any advice

Brad
