82 gl 240, put high beams on and radio stops working, gas gauge stops working and car starts to sputter, keeps running but real rough. Problem comes and goes. I am out in LA and Daughter is driving the car back in NH. I think it is the brushes in the voltage regulator, any other thoughts? Also when I was driving the car out here before sending it back east the battery light would come on real faintly at times.
