Mileage for used tranny 700 1990

What is reasonable mileage to expect for a used AW 70 or AW 70L from a junkyard for my car. I found one with 157k I could get for $275. Should I expect to find one with a lot less miles on it than that considering my car is 14 years old? Thanks,
