Radio Code ---- Locked out 'OFF' 700 1989

'89 760TI --- Radio with separate Tape Deck.
I'll skip the boring details, but I managed to get myself locked out from entering the radio code. The radio just displays "OFF". I don't know how to get back to the "ENTER CODE" prompt.

I don't have the manual so I am at a complete loss. I tried the sequence in my 850 manual, but that did no good.

What is the proper sequence to get back to where I can enter my code.
