Low Mileage Maintenance Interval 1800

Hey all,

Just became the proud owner of a 1970 "E" with 53K miles. I will probably drive this car less than 2500 miles/year, so the standard maintenance intervals don't apply.

Any thoughts? I plan to change the oil 2X/year, brake, clutch, gearbox, OD oil, plugs, filters, etc, overy other year, besides doing weekly, monthly inspections. I plan to renew everything this summer just to reset the maintenance clock.

How about converting to electronic ignition? It currently has points, and runs well.

Tom
