time-bomb 700

Hello.....My otherwise perfect (?) 740 n/a has developed a beeping sound quite similar to what you would hear in the movies when there is a time-bomb involved...beep...beep...beep...just started out of the blue one day, and it goes on all the time. Pulled fuses that seemed appropriate, same sound goes on. To me it's like to "key in ignition" chime went haywire, changed its beat and won't stop. Sounds like it's coming from the center console area(radio, heater controls)..

Rather unerving after a while, driving around with this thing bleeping away..I'm afraid to find out what happens if it stops!!!! :>

Any other brickers been this nervous in their own car???

Advice is appreciated! Josh
