Have got one in my Merc. Raintronic is obviously a plot of wiper blade/windscreen manufacturers to increase sales. The blades are wiping almost continuously even in neglible rain.

Better solution would be the manually adjustable intermittent feature found originally in VW cars. This is also available as a kit from Hella or Bosch.
