I jammed the radio by trying to incorrectly enter the security code.

Presently, it reads OFF .

The manual says I should wait at least one hour with the radio connected. I am assuming that means with the battery connected, the ignition off and the radio knob turned to off.

I have what should be the correct 6 digit code, but I can't get the radio to reset to a situation where I can enter the code.

After I enter the code, the manual indicates that I should press the top button (labelled AU, above the button labelled CD).

If someone has exact info on how to enable the radio to accept the code and how to finalize entry, I would be very thankful.
