Thanks Brickboard and Brickboarders ! It worked !!! 900 1995

Finally got my RF seat out to fix that problem of its not wanting to move forward or backward on the one track. Sure enough, just like most everyone said -- the cable from the motor to that track (it was the longer cable, BTW) was rounded on BOTH ends. Guess they just didn't make it quite long enough to fit snugly.

A 3/8" piece of finishing nail --- dropped into the housing in the middle of the motor where the cable rests --- reinstall the cable --- hook up power. PRESTO -- works like a charm !!

PITA to get the seat back in (the trim pieces and the metal guards around the back of the tracks don't seem to want to go back on quite as easily as they came off!!), but it's IN, it's WORKING ---- the only thing I wonder is if I didn't grease it enough, as it's quite a bit noisier now than the other two motors. Maybe just the flexed cable now riding against the inside of the housing ??? HOPE SO...

Anyway, just the latest in a long line of DIY projects made possible only by the folks on this board. My thanks to all of you for your continued support and encouragement.

Also, I'm tardy in making my contribution to the board ($$ contribution, that is), but it's going out this weekend. I urge the rest of you to do it, too. Whatever you can afford --- this thing is worth it in spades !!!!
