fixing my temp gauge 120-130

That talk about radiator fixin' in the thread below got me thinking about something I've been putting off for too long... How can I fix my temperature gauge? I know that my temp-gauge is the old style that has a little capillary tube filled with something (oil) which runs to the temp gauge on my dash. Mine is no longer connected, as the tube somehow broke I guess.

I kind of assume that I would need to find a whole sender/gauge unit to replace my broken one, but I guess I've feared finding out that these are impossible to find or hugely expensive.

What are my options....?
