UPDATE 700 1991

Autozone sells remanufactured, not new, brake components. I will need a new master cylinder sometime up ahead for my 850, and while I am a poor college student, I'd still spend the extra $$$ for a *new* MC. I've heard horror stories about rebuilt brake components from Autozone and Kragen. However, I bought a remanufactured caliper for my girlfriend's 98 Ford Escort, and was impressed with the quality of the rebuild. I taught my girlfriend about the e-brake trick btw, you should tell other drivers too. Good info to know. I use the e-brake on hard turns too since the 850 is FWD. I am rambling now. In any case, good luck, and it's nice to know that you were prepared for the event of brake failure.
