PRV 6 rocker arms 200

I have a 1979 264 GL with a B27F engine, and I suspect that a few of the rocker arms on the right cylinder bank are starting to wear down.
I lifted the rocker covers last year for inspection of the camshafts/rockers and adjustment of the valve clearence. At that time the cams looked fine, but there is still a light "knocking" from the right cylinder bank.
Except from that, the engine appears to bee in a fair condition , having only approx. 112K miles on the clock.

Anyway my question is : Has anyone tried to replace the rocker arms, with the engine in the car without removing the heads ? Is it possible to pull the rocker shafts forward, and out, to release the rockers ?

I would really appreciate any advices regarding this job.

Best regards,

Erik
