Sensor safe RTV?

I highly recommend the right RTV, used sparingly, for any water related seal.
Most automotive RTVs are spec'd as "sensor safe", and, as Steve says, the coolant is far from the combustion chamber, with any luck.
Great gobs of the stuff is certainly ugly and possibly harmfull, too.
