1990 740GL IAC valve 700

Hello,
I ordered on the net a replacement IAC valve (idle air control). This part
seems to have a bunch of names! The online parts place sent me a Bosch 516 idle control valve. This looks similar to mine, but is much fatter and will never fit the rubber mount presently on the car. The valve I'm replacing reads: 1389557 on the label. I have read Fitz's write up on cleaning the IAC
http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=778266&show_all=1
and his remarks on the various valves,
http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=777199
but none of his numbers seem to match what is on my old valve. I've come to the conclusion I must have the wrong valve, but what do I need?
Thanks. sirbog
