r&r a/c compressor 200 1988

Our 88 245 DL needs a new a/c compressor along with other components after the compressor self-destructed.

Found a nice "TAMA" compressor on a 86 740 at the local pick n pull that looks virtually new. The tag on the TAMA compressor body says its a r134 system; our 88 remains r12.

What needs to be done to use the TAMA compressor with r12?
