The front passenger side window does not go up on my 1990 245. The last time it happened I lifted the switch from the armrest and giggled it a little and the motor worked to raise the window. There is noise when I press one side of the rocker switch and nothing when Ipressthe other side. I presume that the noisy side is the side to lower the window and the silent one the side to lower it. I am planning to raise the window by feeding power directly into the wires at the connector with alligator clips.
Which wires are the proper ones? I plan to disconnect the car battery and use a spare 12 volt motorcycle battery as my power source. Is there a way to check the circuit at the driver side and the passenger side without removing the inside panels.I kind of miss my 1986 which had crank operated windows.
Thanks for any advice
