Sunroof Spring Installation (Picture included!) 700 1998

Hi guys and gals,

Me again. I am having trouble remembering how to attach the the sunroof spring to the rotating thingie. The manual (Haynes) does not clearly show this, nor does it describe it, so I am stuck.

The spring (on the right) can connect to any of the three positions of the left metal piece. It can connected to two places on one side and one place on the other side (arrowed). It rotates freely about its axis, BTW.

I would try all three positions, except that I tried one and the spring flew off. Better safe than sorry, I guess.
