HIGH IDLE 200 1993

93 244 w/ 152K is beginning to run goofy. Idles high, without throttle. In fact, without the pedal depressed the car will cruise at about 20 mph. When I apply the brakes, I fight the engine, which then slowly dies down to what seems to be close to a proper idle.

I checked the vacuum lines and I believe they are all intact, but I will check again today, cause I noticed one line goes under the engine to a location near the air box which I have not yet examined.

Also, my check engine light has come on twice over the last couple of weeks.
When I did the diagnostic check with pin # 6 it came up 1-1-1, so I took the neg cable off to reset the check engine light, which is no longer on. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
