The DASTARDLY DEED is DID ....

Just called Rick at the engine shop ..... looks like it's boring time ... while there wasn't a ridge at the TOP of the cylinder, there was at the BOTTOM ... first time I've heard of that ... also the top ring land of the pistons is beginning to wear..... BTW Rick is a member of our car club and owns 4 122s and a P1800 ... He happens to have a set of pistons in stock to fit my engine and is going to do me a deal on them, so it looks like my dream of a less expensive motor job just went up in smoke. I should find out later today what it is going to cost me ...
