M47 leaking 900 1993

Hi,

Has anybody seen a M47 leak from the hole for the gear lever?
I changed the rear sealing for the drive flange some years ago, at about 190 kmiles.
It's a little difficult to tell exactly where the leak is, but it looks messy around the gear lever, possibly dripping down on the back wall of the box and onto the drive flange. Or could it leak at the drive flange and spray upwards onto the gear lever?
If it is an o-ring or sealing for the lever, is it possible to change it without removing the gearbox from the vehicle? I know the flange sealing is doable without removing the box.
Patient is a 1993 945 240 kmiles.

Thanks for any help,
Mikael Larsson
