Wiper linkage 200 1984

My cam/cable wiper linkage bit the dust amid a downpour the other day.

I'm needing a little basic info to help fix it.

Do the notches on the cam that accept the collars on the cable face fore or aft, in other words, toward the engine or the driver?

Does the linkage from the motor go on top or bottom of the cam?
