volvo tailights/parking lights are weird!

Thanks for the response. You're right I should've included that info. It just kinda slipped. I guess Im expecting mind readers to reside here. 1990 240 non turbo is what it is.

The problem I was having was that everything was checking out. I had power, and the grounds were checking out, regardless how I looked at them. I did continuity checks until I was blue. Everything checked out.

The solution was switching the sockets from one side to the other. Now everthing works perfect.

Either the lights had been working ok in the wrong sockets. Or I absent mindly switched them during the troubleshooting. At this point Im not sure.

Im still interested in hearing whatever you have to add to this though. Please feel free.
