They handled it poorly but... 700

I have a related question for this thread. I've been unable to get a spare key for my 1991 240. Three tries at hardware stores and two tries at Annapolis Volvo. Fortunately, the Annapolis Volvo parts counter tech was understanding. He punched two keys using their factory punch tool and the computer codes, and both would work the door but not the ignition.

I've been told the ignition lock must be worn, but I have a key that works both. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I could get kes made that work?

Thanks for any help,

someguyfromMaryland
