restoration archeology continues... 120-130

started stripping the 68 wagon for restoration and have some questions.
All four side marker lights were actually just reflectors with solid factory rubbers underneath. Was this a past "cheater" repair to still meet the new federal regs on inspection?

Next question is about roof racks. Was/is there a seperate piece on the inside roof panel to assist with roof rack mounting? My 66 wagon had some type of bracket with holes in it for a rack but the 68 inside roof is clean. I don't want to mount the roof rack incorrectly.

Next is what type of rear seatbelts were stock in a 68 wagon? lap or shoulder? I have mounts for both but have seen both types at shows.

And finally what are the correct wing window handles for a 68? I have one small with chrome and one fat black one that looks like its out of an old VW.

More to come as the car restoration continues....

Thanks all.

-Erik
