replacing bushing on shifter 200 1979

Hi guys! I have removed the tranny and would like to take the play out of the bushing that goes between the shifter rod and the input on the transmission. Is this a replaceable part or am I going to have to do some backyard fix?
Also, I was wondering where I might find tranny rebuild info as I may have to replace 2nd gear syncro. (prefer online).
Any help would be appreciated
