Fuel smell

If You phoned this one into Click and Clack they'd ask you if you mixed gasoline brands. After replying yes, they would tell you that by mixing Mobile with Shell you get schmell. More than likely though. if you remove the two phillips screws located under the mat in the top left quadrant of your trunk, you will notice (with the help of a flashlight) that the assembly which holds the fuel pre pump/sending unit is deteriorating and needs immediate replacement
