Freaky engine 200

I'd start by giving the girl a tune-up. Misses in ignition are usually from worn plug wires or carbon tracking on the cap or rotor. Excessive spark plug gap will make it miss and will make hot starts harder (and easier to flood) as there is less energy available due to running starter motor.
Replacing vacuum lines may be in order too (always a good idea on a 20+ year old car).
After that a good sluicing with carb/throttle body cleaner can work wonders.
Once all is clean and "new/adjusted" then REAL trouble shooting can start.

Mike!
