My wagon has drums and, kept in adjustment, they stop on a dime and give me 9 cents change.

If I wanted power brakes I think a small modern booster and a dual master cylinder conversion would be looking at. Too many projects at the moment to think about that one though.

Probably the whole shebang would cost less to do properly than one damn Girling booster. For that matter a eighties Jetta booster and master cylinder might just be a a close match.
