I'm trying to shake the bugs out of the '91 245. Overdrive was screwed when I got it, chaffed wire burned up the solonoid and the fuse. Thats all fixed now but the thing won't go into OD until I get up to about 65 MPH. I even coasted downhill at 60 and it won't kick in. I've got AW71's in both 740s and they will easily go into OD at 50 MPH or lower if you back off the throttle. The thing downshifts into second just fine if I punch it hard and 1-2-3 shifts seem about right. Any ideas? Kickdown cable binding?
