I'm wondering if you *really* want to proceed with this conversion at all, as it involves a ton of modifications and there's no guarantee it will work well. I think a complete swap really would be easier. But, if you're insistent on this project, you'll have to head over to TurboBricks, which will be able to help you out a lot more than the Board (not that I think this place is deficient in the least!) while trying to create a turbo engine.

This page, though, explains a total turbo engine swap into a 1987 245. That looks a heck of a lot easier than the major engine modifications necessary for turbocharging.
