What is the button under the rubber plug in the instrument cluster? S90-V90 1998

On my 940, this plug covers the "service engine" reset switch. The service engine light will come on as a reminder to do oil changes, etc. The light will illuminate for the first minute or two each time you start the car. After servicing the engine, pull out this plug and push the switch behind it with a small probe of some sort. Note this is not the same as the "check engine" light which comes on when the computer has identified a problem with the engine.
