My 1993 940 stalls for no reason??? 900

Dear Fellow Volvo Owners,

My 940 just passed 200,000 and I have run into my first major problem that I cannot determine. The model year is 1993 and it has a Regina Fuel System...yuck. My Bluemonster stalls. Diagnostics say that it is missing a signal from the idle control valve and there is a problem with the charging system. I checked the charging system and it is working within normal ranges. I replaced the ICV($242)and it still stalls. I'm thinking it might be the fuel system. Hopefully only the filter. But maybe the fuel pumps. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or how to determine what else it might be. Thanks for the help.

Bluemonster.
