Collapsed Strut support 200 1982

I just replaced my drivers side strut support last week.It had a large rust hole & I did not want it to fail on the road. I used a reconditioned part I bought from Hirsh foreign car parts.I also had to replaced the flexible brake hoses & 2 small copper lines as you have to disconnect the brake lines to switch suspension tube(had to saw apart old ones as the flarenuts stripped). While everything was apart I replaced the wheel bearings to. Total cost was $95 for the reconditioned strut tube, $40 for the brake lines & $40 for the wheel bearing kit = $180.Since I did the work myself I am curious as to how much it cost you to have a shop do it.
PS if you ever see a shiny forest green '82 244DL in the Brooklyn NYC area in nice shape & minimal rust (at bottoms) most likely it is my car. It has 163K miles & runs like a top.
