Third Seat Mounting and one other thing 200 1984

Hello. So, I'm putting a third seat in my 1984 245, and I noticed that the floor board that the seat attaches to does have all the appropriate holes, but no threads..I noticed that from 1985 and on, wagons were prefitted with threaded holes so that the seat could just be screwed in..Any suggestions on what to do about this??

Also, does anyone know how to get that annoying knob that adjusts the front seatback off? It seems impossible to do without breaking..

Thanks!
