Reversing lights! GIVING ME THE S**TS! 200

OK... My reversing lights have not been working properly for ages now. I used to have to wiggle the shifter (auto) up and down to get them to work, and they did sometimes- i figured it was the connections on the base of the shifter.. so i sorted it temporarily and it went ok...

Then i installed another reversing light under the bumper- looks kinda cool and gives great light when reversing with no street lights! It worked for ages nicely, i was well chuffed.

now, they dont work at all. FULL STOP! SO..

I checked all bulbs- no probs there.

Checked the fuse- all good.

I checked voltage at the bulb in reverse with engine on- NO POWER!

Pulled the gear selector thingy apart and cleaned/checked all connections- all ok.

Pulled out the relay, opened it up- tiny crack in solder in one place, but i fixed it up a bit so it should be ok.

With the 4 wires going into the relay- green, red and yell/blue all had power-between 12V~16V
BUT! the black wires- 2 attached- had no power.

So.. WHATS UP! What else can i do! If anyone can help me out that would be very good- its kinda unsafe atm and i dont wanna get booked... again...

Thanks in advance
Chris
