Any cheap way to get more horses? 200

I have a 1989 245 non-turbo with auto trans and I just completed a trip from Ma. to southeastern Vermont. The car cruises real nice at 80 mph but when I got to the Green Mountains it had a tough time keeping the speed up. I know wagons are heavy and the auto trans does not help much but are there any cheap things I can do to the engine to get some more horses out of it? Can I get a turbo from a Volvo at junk yard and make mine into a turbo? If so what year range Volvo's can I use the turbo out of? Would I have to do any changes to the computer or wireing harness as well?

Thanks for any help...
