Questions on differential oil weight 700 1989

Hi everyone

My manual states that the recommended rear axle oil is API GL 5 SAE 80 or 80W-90. I plan to change to synthetic. The choices for synthetic available here are

1. Mobilube SHC which comes in either 75W-90 or 80W-140 OR
2. Esso Gear Oil TDL 75W-90.

Would it matter if I put in a different weight oil? Which would be better? Unfortunately we don't have amsoil here (I've never come across anyone using or ever hearing of it) and mobil1 product is only limited to its engine oil. Thanks in advance
