Hello,
First breakdown on my 1992 240 wagon......(B200F engine) After several weeks under observation (the volvo isnt very well known here in the south of France ) the mechanic says it's the ignition controller unit. (Bosch reference: 2 227 400 176) Cost is 1200 euros new. He told me to try and find a used one. Found one for 19$ on ebay, only catch is that it is for the B230F engine. (Bosch ref. 400 169) Does anyone know if this will be compatible with my 200 engine? (or could we at least take the componants needed (siemens 30009) to rebuild my unit? ) (sorry...I posted this by accident the first time in the "stories" forum.)
