Heater regulator valve removal 140-160

I've got the pre-73 dashboard and will remove the heater valve (regulator) this coming weekend. It has a leak and I've disconnected and blocked the hoses long ago. Should have fixed it by now, as it is now the coldest week of the year here in New Zealand...

Anyway, I've got a service manual and I've been in that area before, but just wanted to ask if there is anything difficuilt that I should be prepared for before starting the job. The car is RHD with the heater valve on the left firewall, fitted with 2 (?) screws from the inside. Will it be easy to pull the copper tube thermostat thing (capilirary tube or what ever you call it) out of the blower fan box, and to put it back again?

Thanks

PS: NZ is almost 24h ahead of US, so please if you can reply by Friday morning US time when it is already Saturday here.
