Rear axle differences 120-130

The shims just bolt on behind the backing plate. You would want to take a few out to take up for the play.

When you do this it would be wise though to take of the cover of the dif so you can look inside there aswell. In between of the half shafts is a small cilinder with a hole in it where the pinion shaft goes through. (also in blurry separate part)

When you would just fill out the play you might just move the half shaft and thus this cilinder in a position where it is putting stress on the pinion shaft. If you take of the cover you can have a look wheter it would be best to take out shims on the right or left side of the axle.

Good luck, cheers Ben
